There are many different types of flea products on the market, available in many forms. Some work very well, some do not work at all, and some have the potential to make your pet sick.
Of all the flea products currently available, Mountain Veterinary Hospital carries the ones that we believe are the safest, most effective, and easiest to administer products available at this time.
For dogs, we carry Bravecto which is a tablet that kills fleas and ticks for three months. We also carry SimparicoTrio which is a monthly tablet that kills fleas and intestinal worms and protects against heartworms.
For cats we also carry Bravecto, but for cats it is a topical treatment not a tablet. As with dogs, it is effective for three months. We also carry two monthly topical treatments. One is called Senergy. It kills fleas, intestinal worms, and ear mites. The other is called Cheristen, which kills fleas, but nothing else.
